Kody Suryan Joins Blue Demons
CHICAGO – DePaul men's soccer has signed Kody Suryan of Huntington Beach, Calif., to a National Letter of Intent. Suryan joins the team next season and is the fifth member of the signing class heading to Lincoln Park in August.

DePaul Men Add Four New Players
CHICAGO – DePaul soccer coach Craig Blazer has added four new players to his squad for 2008: Joe Ferrari, Michael Kratofil, Kai Lui and Richie Podjasek have signed National Letters of Intent to play next season. The foursome joins the men's soccer program as it comes off the most successful season in school history as the Blue Demons claimed the BIG EAST's Red Division and qualified for the NCAA Tournament.

DePaul Women Ink New Players for '08 Campaign
CHICAGO – DePaul women’s soccer coach Erin Chastain is adding 11 newcomers to the program next season. Eight have signed National Letters of Intent while three others have accepted admission to DePaul University. Chastain’s first recruiting class at DePaul goes coast to coast while maintaining traditional Chicagoland roots.

NSCAA Names Craig Blazer COY for Great Lakes Region
CHICAGO – DePaul men's soccer coach Craig Blazer added another piece of hardware for the 2007 season when he was named the NSCAA/adidas Coach of the Year for the Great Lakes Region. The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) selects a coach of the year for each of its eight regions.

CHICAGO – DePaul goalkeeper Brian Visser was recently named to the Great Lakes Region third team by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). The 2007 BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Year is the second DePaul player to earn NSCAA/adidas All-Region honors.

CHICAGO - DePaul’s historical season continues in Peoria, Ill., as the Blue Demons make the program’s first NCAA Championship appearance. DePaul takes on Bradley of the Missouri Valley Conference in the first round in a 7 p.m. match on Saturday night at Shea Stadium.

STORRS, Conn. – Fighting not only one of the nation’s top-ranked teams, the DePaul men’s soccer team had to face frigid temperatures and brisk winds in their first BIG EAST semifinal appearance on Friday evening. The Blue Demons came up on the short end of a 2-1 score as Notre Dame advances to Sunday’s championship match.

DePaul's Steffen Vroom Tallies Goal in 1-0 Win vs. Cincinnati
CHICAGO – A goal by Steffen Vroom early in the second half led DePaul to a 1-0 win over Cincinnati and into next weekend's BIG EAST Championship semifinals. With the win, the Blue Demons matched the program's most wins in a season at 12 and finished the 2007 home schedule with a 9-1-0 record at Wish Field.

DePaul's Alex Mangan Tallies in OT for 1-0 Win over Syracuse
CHICAGO – The DePaul men’s soccer team continued its run towards a Red Division title as Alex Mangan’s header served as the game-winner in dramatic fashion on Saturday. The sophomore took a serve from Julian Chillé and headed it off the right post with just 28 seconds left in the second overtime period for a 1-0 victory over Syracuse.

DePaul Men Drop 3-0 Decision to Loyola
CHICAGO – There were no treats for the Blue Demons in Rogers Park on Halloween as the Loyola University Chicago Ramblers struck three times in the first half for a 3-0 win over DePaul in men’s soccer action. DePaul’s three-match winning streak was snapped as the Blue Demons fell in their final non-conference game of the regular season.
