DePaul falls 1-0 to Western Michigan


CHICAGO, Ill.- A 72nd minute goal by Darren Jones of a free kick gave Western Michigan a 1-0 win over DePaul at Wish Field on Saturday.

Jones powered a shot from 32-yards out past Blue Demon goalkeeper Eric Sorby for his first goal of the year.

DePaul entered Saturday's match ranked No. 10 in the Great Lakes Region. They had only two shots in the game, neither of them on goal as Bronco goalkeeper Sean Lewisposted his third shutout in four games.

The win improved WMU to 4-0-0 while DePaul falls to 1-2-0.
