CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Illinois soccer team concluded its spring season with a 1-0 victory over the Ball State Cardinals on Saturday afternoon at the Illinois Soccer Stadium. Freshman forward Jordan Hilbrands continued her hot streak as she notched her fifth goal of the spring season in the 84th minute on an assist from sophomore forward Chichi Nweke.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Illinois soccer team concludes its spring season Saturday with an exhibition match against Ball State at the Illinois Soccer Stadium. The Illini, who have won four straight exhibition games, will take on the Cardinals at 2 p.m. as part of the Spring Sports Festival.

COLUMBIA, Mo. –Illinois won its fourth exhibition game in a row, toppling the Missouri Tigers, 3-1, at Walton Stadium on Saturday. Freshman forward Jordan Hilbrands continued her stellar spring with her fourth goal of the exhibition season, while sophomore forward Chichi Nweke and junior midfielder Marti Desjarlais each added a goal.

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Illinois soccer team’s exhibition match against Missouri has changed locations due to flooding in the St. Louis area. The Illini will take on the Tigers at Walton Stadium on Missouri’s campus in Columbia at 1 p.m. on Saturday as part of the M.C. United Spring Tournament.

Illini Pick Up Two Wins over The Weekend
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Fighting Illini soccer team continued its successful spring season, sweeping in-state foes, Illinois State and Eastern Illinois at the annual Illinois Cup on Saturday. The freshman class led the way for the Orange and Blue in both games, with midfielder Cory Steigerwald notching both goals in the 2-0 victory over the Redbirds while forward Jordan Hilbrands tallied a pair of goals in the 5-1 win over the Panthers.

Illini women blank Tri-Colore
Illinois scored an early goal then added another in the closing minutes as the defense stifled the Mexican National Team for a 2-0 victory before a crowd of nearly 600 fans at the Loyola Soccer Park.

Illini face spring test Monday
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois will play an exhibition match against the Mexico Women’s National Team on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Loyola Soccer
Park in Chicago. It will mark the fifth meeting between the two teams and first since 2006, when the match ended in a 1-1 tie.

Illini Face Louisville at Notre Dame Friday
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The Illinois soccer team earned its fifth straight NCAA
tournament berth and will face the Louisville Cardinals in the opening round.
The Illini are making their seventh tournament appearance in the last eight
years and will travel to South Bend, Ind., where No. 4 seed Notre Dame will host
the first and second rounds of the tournament. The Illini (11-6-2) square off
against the Cardinals (13-5-2) on Friday, Nov. 16 at 4 p.m. (CT).
