Against the Wildcats Zavaleta scored a pair of goals in the fourth and 67th minutes, and assisted on the two other scores in the win in Lexington.
Zavaleta’s fourth multiple-goal game of the season came three days later as he tallied both scores in a 2-0 win over Wisconsin to keep the Hoosiers undefeated in Big Ten play at 3-0.
He currently leads the Big Ten in shots (44), shots per game (3.67), points (24), points per game (2.00), goals (11), goals per game (0.92) and game-winning goals (3).
In addition to his Big Ten honor, Zavaleta was also named the College Soccer News National Player of the Week.
