Northwestern teams to play 13 games in Bridgeview

EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern men’s and women’s soccer will play 13 contests this season at Toyota Park, home of Major League Soccer’s Chicago Fire, while renovations continue on Lanny & Sharon Martin Stadium through the fall. In an agreement announced Thursday with the Village of Bridgeview, the Wildcats men’s programs will host six tilts at the 20,000-seat soccer facility, while the women’s team will play seven games.

Northwestern drops 1-0 decision to SIUE

EVANSTON, Ill. – The Northwestern men’s soccer team dominated SIU-Edwardsville Thursday evening, but it wasn’t enough. SIUE found the net in the 81st minute, earning the 1-0 win over the Wildcats in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. SIUE (8-8-4) advances to face California November 23rd at 3:00 p.m. CT.

Northwestern’s men’s soccer team is heading to the NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats will host SIU-Edwardsville at Lakeside Field Thursday at 4:30 p.m. CT.

NU women fall 1-0 to Iowa

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Iowa tallied one goal Friday. It proved to be enough to hand the Northwestern women’s soccer team a 1-0 loss. The Wildcats hadn’t lost since October 12th.
