Waldrum calls 2012 one of best signing classes
NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Forward Anna Maria Gilbertson, defender Katie Naughton, forward-midfielder Cari Roccaro,midfielder-forward Mary Schwappach, forward Crystal Thomas, defender , Brittany Von Rueden, and midfielder Glory Williams, each made their official commitments to Notre Dame by submitting National Letters of Intent during the current signing period that began Feb. 1.

Two from UND selected in SuperDraft
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Notre Dame’s Aaron Maund and Brendan King were selected in Thursday’s 2012 Major League Soccer SuperDraft. Maund, a central defender, was picked by Toronto FC in the first round (12th overall), while King, a midfielder, went to the Portland Timbers in the second round (27th overall).

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Three Notre Dame men’s soccer players have earned all-Great Lakes Region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Senior defender Aaron Maund and junior midfielder Dillon Powers were named to the second team, while junior forward Ryan Finley was a third-team honoree.
