Notre Dame's Roccaro Offensive Player of the Week

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Notre Dame freshman Cari Roccaro earned BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week honors

Roccaro (East Islip, N.Y./East Islip) earned BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week honors after totaling five points, including two goals in a 2-0-0 week. The freshman factored into three of the team’s five scores last week. Roccaro had a goal in a 2-1 win over Pittsburgh on Sept. 21. The forward had a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win over Oakland on Sept. 23. She has seven points, including three goals in just four games since returning to the Irish from the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
