INDIANAPOLIS -- Green Bay senior Tony Walls has been named the Horizon League Men’s Soccer Player of the Year, while UIC junior Ivan Stanisavljevic earned Offensive Player of the Year accolades. Wright State’s Craig Feehan collected Newcomer of the Year honors, while Valparaiso took the other half of the League’s individual awards, in voting of the League’s coaches.

When UIC needed a win, the Horizon League’s two leading scorers took it upon themselves to seal the deal. Eric Frazier and Ivan Stanisavljevic hooked up twice in the final seven minutes, with each scoring a goal and providing an assist, lifting the Flames to a 2-0 win over Wright State in a pivotal Horizon League match at Flames Field Wednesday night.

INDIANAPOLIS – Redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Piotr Kikolski recorded his second shutout of the season by turning away five shots, as the UIC Flames battled defending Horizon League champion Butler to a 0-0 tie in double-overtime at the Butler Bowl Saturday night.
