Soul to hold open house Sunday
HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL - The Chicago Soul FC of the Major Indoor Soccer League is hosting an official launch party for the Chicagoland area. The event, which is free to the public, is set for Sunday, October 14, 2012 from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the Sears Centre Arena, located at 5333 Prairie Stone Parkway in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Doors open at 12:30 PM.
The event will feature an introduction to the club's coaches, players, dance team members and the rest of the Soul staff, followed by a meet and greet session, during which the public will have the opportunity to socialize with the team and get autographs and pictures. Kids are welcome to play on the field with the players and learn routines by the dance team, as well as partake in other fun games and activities.
Those in attendance will also get the chance to view the Soul in action for the first time as they participate in a live, open scrimmage. Soul merchandise will also go on sale and be available for purchase at the event.
The Soul will open their inaugural season on Friday, November 2, 2012 on the road against the Syracuse Silver Knights, and host their home opener on Friday, December 7, 2012 against the Rochester Lancers at the Sears Centre Arena at 7:30 PM CT.
