A look at the upcoming game

Houston Dynamo (4-3-4, 16 pts) @ Vancouver Whitecaps FC (5-3-4, 19 pts), 6:00 pm CT, BC Place (FS Houston,SNET Pac)
The Houston Dynamo face Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Sunday without defenders Geoff Cameron (USA) and Andre Hainault (Canada), both away on National Team duty, as well as injured backliner Kofi Sarkodie and scoring leader Will Bruin (5g, 1a), who has been ruled out with concussion symptoms. The Whitecaps are coming off their second straight draw, 1-1 with Portland, getting an off-the-bench equalizer from Darren Mattocks. Vancouver has not won in league play since May 5, when they knocked off Western Conference front-runners San Jose. They also have not posted a defensive shutout since April 28, although netminder Joe Cannon remains tied for the league lead in clean sheets with five. Since opening their new BBVA Compass Stadium, the Dynamo have put together a four-game unbeaten streak, and are coming off a 2-1 win over the reigning champion LA Galaxy. Led by last year’s assist leader Brad Davis, the Dynamo have been especially dangerous on set plays, and are tied with DC United and San Jose for most goals scored off of corner kicks this season, with three.
