This afternoon, Chicago’s RWB Adria were drawn against the Carolina Rail Hawks of the United Soccer League’s 1st Division (USL-1) in the First Round of the 2007 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. On what will be a historic match for both clubs, RWB Adria travel to Cary, N.C. on June 12th to play Carolina at SAS Soccer Park at 6:30 pm CT.

GOSHEN, Ind. — FC Indiana forward Katie Anderton has been called up by the England Women’s National Team in preparation for the 2007 FIFA World Cup in China this September. Anderton will report on April 9 to train in LaManga, Spain with England National Team, which qualified for the tournament this past fall, defeating France in Paris, 1-0.

GOSHEN, Ind. - F.C. Indiana of the Midwest Conference of the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) has signed Italy Women's National Team member Elisabetta Tona for the 2007 season. A 23-year old defender, Tona has notched 37 caps for the full senior side while scoring 2 goals. At the recently completed Algarve Cup, Tona helped lead Italy to a 1-0 victory over the defending World Cup Champions in Germany.
