WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Chicago Fire Reserves mirrored the first team’s performance with a 2-0 win over the D.C. United Reserves Friday at the D.C. United Training Complex. Rookie midfielder Peter Lowry scored goals in the 54th and 86th minutes to guide the team to a shutout win.

Chicago (4-1-1) sits in second, while United (2-4-0) is struggling to get their team healthy. D.C. is 2-1-0 at home however, which will make it tough for the Fire.
