Storm's Richey, Rosenband, Stewart Return from U.S. Futsal Team
HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. – The U.S. National Futsal Team returned to the States after spending the past week in Fortaleza, Brazil, for a set of friendlies against Brazilian professional clubs. The team, which includes Storm midfielders Matthew Stewart and Andy Rosenband, and goalkeeper Jeff Richey, earned one victory in three exhibition matches.

Chicago Drops Playoff Series to Monterrey
MONTERREY, Mexico – For a second straight season, the Chicago Storm entered Game 2 of their playoff series with a 1-0 lead. But similar to last season’s semifinal series against Philadelphia, the Storm dropped Game 2 and the “Golden Goal” game of their MISL Championship Series quarterfinal matchup against host La Raza de Monterrey on Sunday, April 13, at Arena de Monterrey.

Three Storm Players to Miss Playoffs
HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. – Two of the Chicago Storm’s top three scorers will be missing for the remainder of the season. After some personnel changes, forwards Mariano Bollella and Carlos “Chile” Farias and defender Edgar Rivera have been suspended from the team indefinitely.

ORLANDO— Maybe the Chicago Storm’s minds were already on their Thursday night playoff date with Monterrey at the Sears Centre. Or maybe it was just a case of “any given team on any given day.” But whatever the reason, the Storm stumbled out of the regular season with a 13-9 loss to the worst team in the MISL, the 4-26 Orlando Sharks Saturday at Amway Arena.
