ROCKFORD, Ill. – Josh Rife, Marcelo Fontana and Troy Dusosky tallied four points each as the Milwaukee Wave extended their lead in the Major Indoor Soccer League standings to a full game with a 16-10 win over the Rockford Rampage at the MetroCentre.

XSL expected to fold
The Xtreme Soccer League, which played only one season, is expected to announce it is folding on Friday. The league, one of two that formed after the Major Indoor Soccer League disbanded following the 2007-08 season, had four teams, the Chicago Storm, Milwaukee Wave, Detroit Ignition and New Jersey Ironmen.

Morris, visibly upset after the game, used an expletive to describe the team’s play.
