USA to host Colombia in Frisco March 29

FRISCO, Texas -- The U.S. will host Colombia on Tuesday, March 29, at Toyota Stadium for the second leg of its two-game home-and-away playoff for a spot in the 2016 Olympic Games, U.S. Soccer announced Tuesday.

Sanchez leads U-17 qualifying roster

U.S. Under-17 Women's National Team coach B.J. Snow Thursday named a 20-player roster for the 2016 CONCACAF U-17 Women's Championship in St. George's, Grenada, from March 3-13. The top three finishers will qualify for the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Jordan Sept. 30-October 21. Southern California Blues SC's Ashley Sanchez leads the way, having scored 11 goals in six matches for the team, plus converting the deciding goal as the U.S. won the U-20 qualifying title last month.

CHICAGO - U.S. Soccer has appointed three-time World Cup veteran Brad Friedel as Head Coach of the U-19 Men's National Team and former Iran National Team assistant coach Omid Namazi to lead the U-18 MNT program.

U.S. Soccer tabs John Hackworth

CHICAGO - U.S. Soccer has appointed former Philadelphia Union coach John Hackworth as the head coach of the U-17 Menís National Team. He replaces Richie Williams, who has been named assistant coach of Real Salt Lake of Major League Soccer.
